La nouvelle vague:
C’est une acrylique sur toile cirée, la dimension est d’environ 1,10mx1,40m, la toilé a été préparée avec de l’acétate de polyvinyle associé à un pigment ocre rouge foncé, ce qui permet de garder une souplesse du support et d’assurer une stabilité importante dans le temps.
Le pigment rouge fait vivre les acryliques froides qui composent la toile.
Une acrylique métallisée industrielle est associée aux acryliques «artistiques» pour objectiver la brillance des vagues au soleil couchant.
Cette toile est évidemment un hommage à la grande vague d’Hokusai, mais pas que… C’est tout mon univers qui se retrouve dans ce travail, la mer, la musique qui m’inspire (New Wave) et c’est aussi un clin d’œil au cinéma des années 60.

The new wave:
It is an acrylic on waxed canvas, the size is about 1.10mx1.40m, the canvas has been prepared with polyvinyl acetate combined with a dark red ochre pigment, which allows to keep a flexibility of the support and to ensure an important stability over time.
The red pigment brings to life the cold acrylics that make up the canvas.
An industrial metallic acrylic is combined with « artistic » acrylics to objectify the brightness of the waves at sunset.
This painting is obviously a tribute to the great wave of Hokusai, but not only that… It is my whole universe that is reflected in this work, the sea, the music that inspires me (New Wave) and it is also a nod to the cinema of the 60s.

Es un acrílico sobre lienzo encerado, el tamaño es de aproximadamente 1.10mx1.40m, el lienzo ha sido preparado con acetato de polivinilo combinado con un pigmento ocre rojo oscuro, lo que permite mantener una flexibilidad del soporte y asegurar una importante estabilidad en el tiempo.
El pigmento rojo da vida a los acrílicos fríos que componen la tela.
Un acrílico metálico industrial se combina con acrílicos « artísticos » para objetivar el brillo de las olas al atardecer.
Esta pintura es obviamente un tributo a la gran ola de Hokusai, pero no sólo eso…. Es todo mi universo el que se refleja en esta obra, el mar, la música que me inspira (New Wave) y es también un guiño al cine de los años 60.
